Every tile starts muted and only loads when you press play, so opening the page does not pull four video streams over your connection. Sound moves between tiles rather than stacking, and a grid left in a background tab stops itself after a minute.

Frequently asked questions
- How many cams can I watch at once?
- Up to 4 live rooms at the same time. On a phone the tiles stack into one column so each stream still gets a usable size.
- Why is the sound off?
- Every tile starts muted, because several rooms playing audio at once is unusable. Tap the speaker on one tile to hear that room; switching tiles moves the sound rather than adding to it.
- Does multicam cost anything?
- No. CamSpike shows the broadcasters' own free public streams. Tipping, private shows and account features all happen on the cam site itself.
